The family finally tried the restaurant Chikaan in Robinsons Place. An import from Cebu, the restaurant reminded me of Cafe Laguna which is also from Cebu.
Filipino flair with a touch of Iloilo in the decor. The place was packed to overflowing. This is always a good sign.
The chorizo came highly recommended. We also tried the sizzling tuna belly, kangkong in gata, caldareta, sizzling bulalo and baked scallops. Love their citrus quencher. Refreshing and light combination of orange, calamansi and cucumber.
Its a place for the family or a big group. Their P35 unli rice deal fit the orders nicely. Be there early though.
